Memorial Day Weekend

May 30

To celebrate the long weekend, the girls kept very busy.

We had lots of food (Dairy Queen, Champs, steaks at home, stinky salami and Raising Cane’s). We went to the MOA, Nordstrom, Costco, Target, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Sports Authority, Gander Mountain, Bachman’s and the Minnesota Zoo (where we watched the first-ever dolphin show with the baby).

During all that, the girls managed to play their new Nintendo DS games. The girls also purchased shoes and swimsuits.

Despite the weather, the girls kept very busy and had fun!

Busy Weekend

May 22

The girls had a busy weekend.

Natalie spent the whole weekend at a friend’s cabin and Gabrielle had a sleepover at her friend’s house.

In addition to friends, we celebrated Grandpa’s birthday (he got a Guy Fieri cookbook).  We watched the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie (in 3D), got a new bed for the dogs and had sandwiches at Potbelly.  It’s hard to believe, but we also managed to squeeze in some homework too.

As always, the girls had fun. :-)

Buca di Beppoooooo!

May 04

Today, we took the girls out for Italian food and ice cream at our local Buca di Beppo.

The girls had TONS of food and TONS of fun.
